2010 Atlantic Division Award Winners Announced

06/08/10 - The Atlantic Division Awards Committee is pleased to announce that the following awardees have been named.

The Atlantic Division Awards Committee chaired by Assistant Director John Szwarc N3SPW has selected the winners of the 2010 Atlantic Division Award nominees.

Rol Anders K3RA of Elkridge, MD was awarded the Atlantic Division Amateur of the Year.

Rol has been active teaching amateur radio classes and has been very active within his club, the Potomac Valley Radio Club.  He is considered a spark plug within his club.

Bob Famiglio K3RF of Media, PA was awarded the Atlantic Division's Technical Achievement award.

Bob has been very active in D-Star and other digital modes, and he's been involved with helping educating members on the PA tower and antenna legislation.
